House Arrest

To catch you up, yesterday I had to back to the hospital due a powerful pain on my side. Turns out that I had a kidney stone. But I did get some morphine, boy that will put you out. Made that pain tolerable and allowed the stone to pass without me going crazy. Due to all the other issues that I have had lately the doctors ordered a CT scan (skipped the X-ray and straight to the big guns) and blood work. Turns out that I was not bleeding. But the blood work showed that my blood is thin, way to thin. Enough to consider putting my in the hospital since a fall or cut could be big ordeal. The doctors decided to let me go home but told me to stay home and not do anything. So after the first day, I am bored. Not that I would do anything otherwise, but it is the fact that I can’t do anything is getting to me.

So I have been working from home all day, listening to the Ray Charles CD that I just got, and not much else.

  1. You know, this whole “I’m in the hospital” thing is getting a little old…;)

You should try some good news instead. You just need to get over all of the embolism, kidney stone, thin blood junk, and be happy and healthy.

Shame on you for worrying your friends and family!

    hehe

  2. After spending all day friday in the ER and then being told I have to take it easy but move around I now know how you feel.

Hell I got winded folding laundry yesterday….hope you are eeling better soon!

  3. a little late, but when you rblood is thin you can go home and gorge on brocholi to thicken it up fast. My dad will do this, then of course he has to have another protime test in a day or two.

    Cumadin stinks.
