KCPT Kids night

Couple of weeks ago on Friday afternoon I get a call from a friend, Chanda. She is wanting to know what I had planned for that night, believe me when I say not much. I had planned on working until 5:30 or so and go to the home store and get stuff to do some work around the house. Maybe grab dinner on the way home and watch a movie. She asks if I wanted to go to some charity event that she got some tickets, but I would have to get a tux. I must have misunderstood her because that is something that you don’t hear very much. She says it again, I would have to get a tux and further explains that the event is at the Liberty Memorial with food and open bar. I tell there that I would be her huckleberry. We had a good time, got to dress up, and pretend that we are sophisticated.
